Ribeira
This is the best district for first-time visitors who want to be in the heart of historic Porto. It is most atmospheric and within walking distance of major attractions.
However, it can be busy, more expensive, and noisy. Perfect for a 2-day itinerary when you want to maximise sightseeing time in Porto.
